Brooke and I arrived in Huntsville, Alabama yesterday (Wed 10-8) afternoon. We were welcomed by Sabrina (Mom) and Jordan (GLUT-1 age 13) and their local news staff, who was interested in getting the girls first meeting on tape. Jordan is in a wheelchair right now, she has both legs casted from thigh to shins. So Brooke was a little leary, I think she was feeling sorry for her! Keep in mind Brooke is casted too from shins to toes. They are quite a pair! Jordan is amazing. She looks, acts, sounds, just like Brooke. It is unlike anything you'd ever believe. When one of them are saying their words and your back is to them, it's hard to tell which one it was. It's that's close. They are so sweet and we are really enjoying the Stover's. Richard (Dad) and Taylor (sister) are wonderful also. Taylor is Jordan's older sister, age 17. She cannot believe how much Brooke is like Jordan, it is very emotional for her. She wants to keep Brooke!! Last night we went out for "chickenanddressin" it's like one word, it was yummy. The girls got some extra food for the celebration, so they were happy!! Brooke is doing well and I'll update more later as they will be here any minute. We are going to the Stover's, the Decatur Daily will be there at 11am for an interview, then we plan to shop a bit and have some lunch. Thanks for checking in and hopefully I'll have some pix of the girls together today.
