Joyce Garbaciak contacted us to say that Channel 12 will be coming over on Monday to do the follow up post China story. They want to tie it in with Mother's Day as their story. Hopefully Brooke will want to do some walking that day for the camera!! I'll keep you informed as to an air date. Brooke is still working on her walking and balance, she knows the independent steps are possible now. Her PT says she is seeing new things from Brooke also, exercises and positioning that was difficult for her before. It all helps for the long term goal. The thank you letters are in the mail, I have several to go out yet, it is hard to express our gratitude. We are going to attend Conductive Education in October, which will be a one month intense therapy program. We have done this before, Brooke loves it and responds well. The conductors make it fun, not all work for the kids. The timing should be good as far as the stem cells go. If we see wonderful results, we would consider a return trip, but for now are hoping to enjoy more milestones met!
