FINAL SPINAL!!

Today was Brooke's last spinal!! Whoopee!! Makes for a very happy group. Friday she will receive her 6 of 6 total through IV. We're glad no more spinals, makes for a long day for Brooke. We're just getting ready for bed, she has been lying flat for 6 hours and I'm hoping she's tired enough to sleep. She's one of the few kids who doesn't sleep following the procedure. She knows she gets to eat sometimes afterwards though, that is why. She asks right away out of the operating room. She's still coming up with more and more sounds and is repeating a LOT. We have to watch out! Tomorrow we'll see how she's feeling, whether or not we do therapy, maybe just the afternoon PT session. Then Wednesday we hope to finish our shopping for trinkets, it's going to be real nice out. The weekend may get long in our anticipation of returning home, but we're just glad it's close. It has been an experience like no other, good and bad, we have learned to take life with both over the years and this is just another indication of such. Looking forward to seeing everyone next week!
