Slight improvements

We have noticed a little improvement in Brooke's speech.  She is putting words together more spontaneously, without the cueing to do so.  She is also repeating more words with her sounds.  (ie  when she's eating her icecream she will say "good Mom" without being asked how is your icecream??)  Small gain, but something to build on, and it's only week 3.  We are expecting more after we return home.

WOW that is so cool with the speech! Brooke you are such a TROOPER! I love all the pictures. I have the cutest headband for you that i bought when Brady, Aunt Shar & I were at Aerial, I can't wait to give it to you, it will look so cute with your hair color & style Friday Brady is having lunch with me, Aunt Shar & Uncle Mike at Los Compadres in between my Dr. & Physical Therapy appts. Then Saturday night Tony & I are taking Brady to the Professional Bull Riding at the Bradley Center, he will love that, & wearing his Wranglers like a cowboy! Take care all of you! Love, Kelsey

Glad to hear that your speech is coming along. I'm soooo happy for you. Mrs. Schleiss will be happy, too. Remember what I told you? When you start talking you can't tell my secrets! Remember? Beth and I are excited for you. Enjoy the rest of your time in China and we'll see you when you get back. In the meantime, remember, NO secret telling!!
      Love, SMALL

Hi Brooke! How are you? Thanks for all the great pictures of your trip. You sure have lots of smiles. I am at Craig's house checking out your blog. Then off to Woodman's to grab some of my special food. Kinda stinks to have to eat different from everyone else, huh? I guess we do whatever we have to. No big plans this weekend, which is kinda nice. Time to kick back and put our feet up. Would you believe Brady asked me to cuddle on Thursday? That's usually what you ask for. I could hardly believe my ears. He was very tired, as it was a long day. Talk soon. Denise

When Toots and I read books or play games and a story or game is finished, I will ask her, "Do you want to play/read it again?" and she'll respond by nodding or saying "ya" or "na".
Last night after finishing a game and asking the question, she said, "Again" The "n" sound wasn't there, but it was AGAIN!!!!
      Another something to build on!!
      So proud of Brooke!
