Finished with therapy today then ventured out to the store for some groceries.  Peter was on his way today, their car was here at 11am to pick up he and Judy.  (Maya's Grandmother).  Man, those trips to the store are more and more an adventure.  Between people staring at the Americans and everyone for themselves so as not to get run over, it's quite a sight.  Cindy and I are getting good at it though, dodging bikes, cars, and scooters.  Among other types of 3 wheeled carts and whatever else they come up with around here.  Brooke goes in the stander this afternoon, then electric stim on her leg muscles following.  Jan, her pt at New Berlin would be proud of us, all this heel cord stretching in the stander!!  I had to take pictures of her feet even.  Thanks for the updates on Wisconsin, I didn't realize we even had a sport that was in session, let alone madness.  Have fun at the Old Goat's Birthday Party and sing one for Toots Uncle Beeks.  (I Hope You Dance is what comes to mind, but we'll take any of your songs!!)  Tell Jodi Happy Birthday and we're sorry we're missing.  We like a good party.   Well, we'll tip a Budweiser in her honor tonight.  No green beer around these parts.  We're just glad it's not raining today, actually sunny again.   Better go see if the broccoli's done cookin.  You wouldn't believe the meat dept. here.  Chicken and duck feet anyone??????

Crazy week....been anxious to get an update. Love reading about the cultural adventures.

Way yo go Ms. Brooke for being so brave. I remember when the sight of needles used to make me weak in the knees.

Good Morning! It's a good thing you dodged chickens and bikes in Key West. I think you are one step ahead of the game. Although, I keep thinking we should be back in the Keys. There is a market down in Waukegan we go to that scares me too. They always have chicken feet. I think that is so gross. Speaking of feet, I'm proud to hear Brooke is working on her heel cords. Hard to believe they are so tight, given the surgery and all. Tell her she makes me proud, cuz I know that's not so fun. I'm off today and have plenty of adventures planned. We are helping Ann and Joe move, going to snowmobile races and then The Old Goat's Party. How many times must I tell you I can't sing that song right now. Tried at home, too many tears to see the screen L8r...D
