Brooke is doing great and beginning yesterday was walking again using her walker.  She had therapy and did great and even tolerated the stander for 15 minutes.  This surprised me as it stretched her heel cords a great deal, which she needs.  I was happy to see her walking again and the Doctor saw us go down the hall and I gave him the thumbs up sign, and he said "I know" meaning it was just part of the recovery and is normal.  They are very reassuring here.  We now have our schedule for next week and Monday we be her second spinal stem cell injection and Wednesday will be stem cells via IV.  This is all decided upon by the Doctors based on MRI readings, history, etc.  which I brought all of!!  They might get through it all by the time we leave here.  Sunday we have 2 buses reserved for 16 of us to go to West Lake.  50rmb each and it's a half hour each way.  (about $7usd each for the roundtrip.)  Should be fun.  The weather yesterday was beautiful, we didn't even need jackets on our walk, it was 65 and sunny.  Today it's not as nice, only in the 50's.  Weather changes quickly here, just like home.  We miss everyone and appreciate all your support.  Mrs. Schleis, give our thoughts to the Ruffalo's, and say hi to all Brooke's friends for her, and teachers.  Bye for now.
