We have arrived!

Hello everyone,
It's Monday, Toots is in the tub, Cindy's giving her a bath. We've
been busy. Sunday Peter and I went to the supermarket with the nbc camera
crew. Course we had Brooke with also. She loved it. The
supermarket resembles a super wally, but it is 3 floors. There are
escalator type lifts which are moving ramps vs. stairs. Great idea.
Should have these in the states. You bring cart and all, so it worked well
with purps. We are quite a sight that is obvious. After
supermarket yesterday we ventured out in search of a Starbucks. The nbc
news driver is from Shanghai and doesn't know Hangzhou so needless to say we
didn't find it. Fritz from the HongKong bureau speaks pretty good Chinese
so he has acted as an interpreter in many situations. We went to West Lake
Sunday (stil in search of Starbucks) and it's pretty there. Had lunch at
their hotel, was very upscale and strange items on their
Wednesday will be her first stem cell injection.
Went to the bank today to exchange money. That went well. It
was quite a hike but Brooke enjoyed the walk in purps. nbc was along, not
a trip I would take alone. We ordered pizza tonight, 3 of us families,
Chinese food is already old to us. They cannot believe here that we pay
$400 rmb for 5 pizzas. You could eat Chinese for a week on that
much. Hospital is nice, decent. Staff are
wonderful.
I best see how Brooke's doing. Shes out of the tub now.
