My hope is that Brooke will be able to skate on the ice or ski
      behind the boat.

Hey, this is Aunt Shar sending all of her best wishes to Brooke for a fantastic benefit and and even more successful trip to China. Our hope is that she returns safe, sound, eating real food, taking some steps, and having the ability to say her own prayers and thank God for her miracle. Love, Aunt Shar

      To My Dearest Goddaughter:
I knew from the day that you were born that you would be capable of great things; but I never in my wildest dreams for you, could have known that you would one day play such a huge part in leading your family and friends nearly around the world on a fantastic journey through the medical frontier.
You have conquered so very many things in your 9 years here.
Look out, China! Meet Ms. Brooke Barels!
      I love you, Sweetheart!
      May God Bless your heart!
      Your Godmother

Hi Brooke! It is so great to see your new website. I e-mailed all my friends and told them to check it out. We are so happy for all of your accomplishments. You sure know how to do us proud. Keep smiling and giggling and everything will be fine.

      P. S. I felt like I was in China today as I scrambled to make enough fried rice for a party on Saturday. Love Denise

      Hello Family and Friends:
I'll save the official announcement about the outcome of the benefit for Vicki to tell. I would like to say that Brooke looked beautiful in her blinking tiara! She partied all night with all of her 400+ guests that came out to support her in spite of the several inches of snow, freezing rain and high winds that they had to weather.
The music was great but the real poetry lied in watching the Queen's (Brooke's) worker bees hustling to make her journey to China for stem cell therapy possible.
I am blessed to have been able to take part in this event. To see so many people pull together for a common goal was a humbling experience, to be sure.
For all of you, behind the scenes, in the forefront and everyone in between, May God Bless You and Yours for all of your efforts.
      Thank You.
      Sincerely,
      Cindy (Brooke's Aunt/Godmother)

      Hello ladies!!!!

I've been anxious to hear how the gals are doing. Acupuncture sounded like a must miss. Hopefully, Brooke is tolerating weight bearing better. I'm glad to hear she had no fever or vomitting and especially a headache. Been there done that! You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
